The population is informed that next July 20, a test trip of the Ferry "Perseverancia" will be made with passengers on board, which will include a trip from Nueva Gerona to Batabanó (at 00:00 hrs) and a return trip, that same day, from Batabanó to Nueva Gerona (at 10:00 hrs). The tickets will be marketed as from July 17, at the usual schedules of the ticket sales agencies and the apk Viajando.

The provisional fare will be $200.00 CUP and customers may carry one small piece of hand luggage in the passenger cabin and up to two additional pieces of luggage with a limit of 20 kg each. Spaces for 25 cars will be sold at a price of 650.00 CUP each for this test trip. The price of the reservation of the means of transportation does not include the value of the driver's ticket or that of the possible passengers.

The corresponding reservations for the transfer of the rolling cargo will be commercialized, for this test, only in the agencies of Viajero located in Avenida Factor between Tulipán and Conill in the municipality of Plaza de la Revolución; Calzada de 10 de Octubre and Concepción in the municipality of 10 de Octubre and the agency of Nueva Gerona in Isla de la Juventud.

The test trip will be aimed at evaluating different operational aspects among which are, the measurement of embarkation and disembarkation times of passengers and roll-on/roll-off cargo, the cleaning and preparation time of the vessel between both operations, as well as passenger check-in time.
